So far in 2013, “Mother Nature” has won more than anybody, cancelling events due to rainouts and cold weather…or both.  Tonight, CAP HENRY and Team CHR was supposed to start the “All Star Circuit of Champions” Midwest leg of the schedule with a double header weekend at Attica Raceway Park.  As of this writing, Friday’s event has been dropped because of impending weather and we are in hopes of racing Saturday night…

The team hasn’t competed since mid-February with results not close to what they were hoping for in the Florida Winter Tour.  A few Top 15 Finishes, a Top 10 and decent qualifying is under the high expectations the guys had placed on themselves in the off season.

“We spent the off-season aligning our priorities and focus”, said owner KIT HENRY.  “We even switched back to our relationship with Kistler Motors and we know they will deliver great engines with lots of power so we’re anxious to see what we have…”

This will be Cap’s fourth year with the All Stars and he keeps getting better compiling strong qualifiers and staying near the front.  “Attica is one of my favorite tracks because we get in front of our hometown fans and family and we had some really great runs there last year”, says an excited Cap Henry“Hopefully the weather cooperates and we have a good night…it’s the way I want to start this part of the schedule and share with the huge fan support we have there…”

Team CHR will run fulltime for the fourth straight year in the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series and is looking to add a couple of more partnerships and sponsors.  If you would like to get involved with a forward-thinking, family-owned team who can compete with top-dollar guys at a much better price point, please contact team owner KIT HENRY at:  kit@henrymotorsports.com

Cap sits 5th in All Star National Points behind DALE BLANEY, DAVID GRAVEL, TIM SHAFFER and LANCE DEWEASE.
