With one eye on the prize and one eye on the Weather Channel, CAP HENRY and Team CHR changed their race plans at the very last minute to stay “home” and run with the World of Outlaws at Attica Raceway Park this evening before heading onto Wisconsin for an IRA double-header weekend…

The Wisconsin-based IRA Sprint series runs 410-winged sprints on some of the best dirt tracks in the area and the competition will be just as good as anybody Team CHR has faced.  Following tonight’s show, the team will trek to Cedar Lake Speedway (Saturday) and Eagle Valley Speedway (Sunday).

“I raced Cedar Lake with the Outlaws last summer and really liked the track so we are looking forward to running with some of the IRA guys we’ve competed with in the past…even though it will be a long day with an 8-hour drive following a Friday night show, anytime we can race in front of our hometown fans, it’s always a great time…BUT…there is extra pressure added when the Outlaws come to town so we really want to show our best…!

“Giving back” is something that the team has always kept as a priority and last week, Cap helped raise money for @KidsKickCancer by auctioning off getting his hair shaved.  “I’m really uncomfortable with it (the haircut) but I have received a lot of compliments on my new look…plus it was for a great cause and everybody had a good time…just can’t wait ’til my hair grows back…!”

Cap sits 3rd in All Star National Points behind DALE BLANEY and TIM SHAFFER with DANNY HOLTGRAVER and JUSTIN HENDERSON in 4th and 5th.
