CAP HENRY and Team CHR Back in Front of Hometown Fans at Fremont for Memorial Weekend Double-Header
May 24, 2013
If CAP HENRY and Team CHR have as much frustration getting to the track this weekend as they had last week (three blown trailer tires), they may want to rethink their strategy. This weekend’s double-header at Fremont is a short 15-minute drive from the shop in Bellevue, Ohio and they will be back in front of the hometown faithful for another potential feature win as happened a couple of weeks back…
The team appears to be running well after getting upside down at I-77 in their heat, transferring from the “B” Main and finishing 5th after starting 12th in the “A”.
“We want to have another good weekend at Fremont, hoping to score some valuable Ohio points while putting on a great show in front of the hometown fans,” Cap said. “Winning there a couple of weeks ago was huge because we showed how far this team has come and what we are capable of doing…we just gotta keep the momentum going through the summer…!”
The smaller, family-owned team has run as well as the bigger, well-funded teams and continue to make their own breaks, qualifying fast and finishing strong with two feature wins in the last month…
Cap sits 3rd in All Star National Points behind DALE BLANEY and TIM SHAFFER with DANNY HOLTGRAVER and CALEB HELMS in 4th and 5th.
