CAP HENRY and Team CHR Ready for Ohio Sprint Speedweek
June 21, 2013
Tonight, the “31st Annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek” kicks off eight racing events over nine days at seven different race tracks in the “Buckeye” state. One year ago, CAP HENRY was leading the first “A” Main of the week only to spin while avoiding a flipping back marker and give the win over to a first-time A.S.C.O.C. winner, DANNY HOLTGRAVER.
This year, Team CHR wants redemption while setting the pace for the grueling week, all in the same night since Attica is one of their “home tracks”, just a short drive from their Bellevue, Ohio shop.
“Any time you can sleep in your own bed after a good night at the race track really makes the next one more fun, especially during a crazy week like this,” says Cap. “Saturday is Eldora and we really want to be good there…a huge race at a legendary race track!”
On any given night, any team can find the right set-up and do well as the All Star regulars will find out at Attica. Local standouts will fill the field all along the tour and there is always extra incentives to do well during “Speedweek” because of the tracks and the loyal fans…
Cap sits 4thd in All Star National Points behind DALE BLANEY, TIM SHAFFER and DANNY HOLTGRAVER with JUSTIN HENDERSON in 5th.
