Career Highlights

2012_0510_LincolnSpeedway.1Cap Henry and Team CHR finished 4th in the All Star Circuit of Champions National Points for the third year in a row in 2012. They Finished 7th in the Eastern Region, 4th in the Great Plains Region and 4th in the Ohio Region.  The team average finish was 10.2 overall and would have been 8.2 if not for accidents that took the team out of a few races, the majority of which were not the teams fault. The average qualifying was 10.77 overall with 3 fast qualifiers, and a new track record at Waynesfield Motorsports Park.

The team was in contention to win numerous races though it was not to be in 2012. Cap finished in the top 10 19 times with 9 top 5’s. The average heat race finish was 4th.

The team also ran a hand full of World Of Outlaw Races in 2012 and was as high as 20th in the National points at one time, on a very limited schedule, and finished in the top 10 2 times as well as making the World Of Outlaws dash 2 times.

Cap continues to improve overall as his stats from 2011 to 2012 have greatly increased with 19 top 10’s VS only 5 the previous year.

The 2012 Knoxville National proved more fruitful then the 2011 season, though once again the run was cut short by motor issues. The team made the A-Main Friday night after transferring from the B-main and made it to the C-main on Saturday.

In 2011 the team finished 4th Overall in the National Points with the All Star Circuit of Champions, finished 4th in the Great Plains Region and 8th in both the Ohio and Eastern Regions.  Cap and the Team garnered their first 410 win in 2012 at Mercer Speedway in Pennsylvania. They finished 7th in the D-Main at the Knoxville Nationals after struggling with motor issues during their qualifying nights.

In 2010 Cap won the rookie of the year honors with the All Star Circuit of Champions by a margin of over 550 points and finished 4th overall in the final point standings. He attempted 43 shows making the A-main a remarkable 36 times with 6 of these shows being co-sanctioned with the World of Outlaws. He has finished 20 times in the top 15, 8 times in the top 10, and 2 runner-up positions. His average qualifying position has gone from 20th in the first half of the season to 12th in the second half. He was quick qualifier 2 times and had 11 top 10 qualifications. With a pill draw of no better than 45, he made all 9 A-main events during Ohio Speedweek (reportedly to be the ONLY rookie to achieve this). His second place finish during the winter nationals was also a first for a rookie driver with the All Star Circuit of Champions.

In 2009 Cap managed to place in the top ten in points in his first year of 410 racing. He finished 6th overall at Fremont Speedway, 8th overall at Attica Raceway Park, and 8th overall in the F.A.S.T series (Fremont Attica Sprint Title). He also achieved a quick qualifier award at Fremont as well as averaging 13th in qualifying out of upwards of 40 cars per night. Cap earned 410 Rookie of the Year honors at Fremont Speedway, Attica Raceway Park, and the F.A.S.T series championship.
